Why You Should Avoid Penis Surgery

The cost of penis enlargement surgery could cost anything between $4000-$5000 and in some cases way upto $17000. Besides the usual risks of invasive surgery, penis surgery also comes with some additional risks. Most doctors sould not recommend surgery unless absolutely necessary. Though, you always have some that would encourage gullible patients.

How it works

This method of penile lengthening involves the release of the fundiform ligament and the suspensory ligament that attaches the two erectile parts of the penis to the pubic bone (ligamentolysis). Releasing this ligament allows the penis to protrude outwards to give a longer appearance. Real penile lengthening (lengthening of corporal bodies vs. ligamentolysis) is not a routine or safe procedure and comes with a high risk of losing your ability to have an erection.

Another method is injection of fat aimed at widening the penis. This method is also associated with serious risks

Penis enlargement is strongly discouraged for people with a normal functional penis. It is suggested only in rare cases when men have been born with a serious congenital abnormality or who have suffered acute injury rendering the penis unusable.

Not all penile surgeries have known to be successful. According to Nim Christopher, a urologist at St. Peter's Andrology Center in London, about 70% of the people who have undergone penis surgery are unhappy with the results.

Some of the known side effects of penis surgery

  • Loss of sensation due to nervous damage leading to impotence
  • Inability to get an erection
  • Risks of post surgery infection
  • Erections pointing downwards
  • Scarring and curvature

Instead, a safer doctor endorsed method to penis enlargement is the Penis Extender. It uses the body's natural ability to grow in length and width.
